I just bought the neatest fishing tool. A Blue tooth hook, I can now fish with my cell phone. The thing is amazing; it allows the free floating of bait, the fish never become aware of any line connected to the hook because there isn’t any. There are limitations, of course, with this first generation device, 33 feet is the limit between hook and cell phone and there is also, currently, a 20 pound test limit on the Blue tooth connection.

Partnering is simple, turn on the hook and when the blue led stops flashing you are set to go. It works with either floating or sinking baits.

Scientists are currently working on Blue tooth 1 technology to extend the distance between receiver and hook and they are also adapting the device to flies and other artificial baits.

Be advised this is available for Windows enabled devises only, it is uncertain if the technology will be available for Mac users.

So it's a poo-poo on the Mac users? Nothing new there.

How is the drag function on the blue tooth? You know, some of your barramundi must be huge now!

I really don't understand.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

It's some new technology, DD, like when the telegraph made it to Muleshoe.

It would be hard to understand if your profession was being a Head-hunter for IT/Technology positions.

I am waiting for Super Bluetooth before I get one; double the distance and twice the test weight.

Theo, they still use carrier pigeons at Muleshoe.

Assuming that this isn't BS, how does it work?

I want to announce that Sunil's revelation that he uses a Mac has absolutely no affect on my feelings for him, nor does it change his status as my Little Brother.

Only available for PC's? What do you do when that lunker grabs the hook and it freezes up? I'll wait for the Mac.
