My pond is just under 1/2 acre with an average depth of around 12-15ft. It is in the second full year after completion and it's stocked with bluegill, redear, bass and cat. I feed, but don't over feed. Feed is always cleaned up after 10 minutes at the most. Now, on to my question. I have moss around the edge of the pond which extends out about 2 feet. Not sure how deep it is but cannot be more than a foot or two. I want to treat it with cutrine but am confused about when, how much and all that business. I read the label numerous times but still doesnt make much sense. I don't want to treat it all at once and suffer oxygen depletion. Also not sure on how to mix the solution. Will apply it with a small 1 or 2 gallon sprayer. I applied aquashade earlier in the spring if that makes a difference. Hopefully someone can walk me through this! Thanks......

jtruck618, I would suggest, if you have not already done so, search the posts on the forum, I am sure this question has been answered in the past. There are generally 3 choices, chemical, physical and natural.
You mentioned one of the chemical ways, raking is one of the physical ways and fish that eat algae and/or plants one of the natural ways.
See if there is a tilapia supplier in your state and read up on grass carp.

Contact the manufacturer or store where you bought it. I had the same series of questions the first time I used Captain from SePRO. Got a hold of a SePRO Pond Advisor and got great advice. Good luck.

I did not buy any yet. Just read the label at the store. Nobody there has an idea, just said to follow label directions. I thought someone here could answer pretty quick about how much should be mixed into a gallon because that is probably all I need. No tilapa in the US that Im aware of except on your dinner plate. Grass carp are common around here but I don't like the idea of carp in my pond. Would rather just spray it. Thanks for you responses though.
