A relocation is forcing me to sell my home. Behind the house I built a 1.5 acre pond that I stocked with LMB/coppernose/readears. That was 8 years ago and managing the pond with the aid of all the great info on this forum has been a heck of a ride!! Biggest fish landed tipped the scales at nearly 9 pounds - not bad for a smallish pond! My brother fishes a ton of area ponds/lakes and says my lunker hole is the best he has found. It's going to be painful to hand this over someone else.
On a more positive note, the property we are moving into in New Jersey has a small pond on it. It only measures 50' by 70' and has some sort of existing fish population. Not sure what one might do in such a small body of water in a northern climate but any interesting suggestions would be welcome.

As long as it has the depth to overwinter your fish population, there are several options depending on what you want... Any more information on the pond? Depth, current fish population, water source, etc...
