Can I get a witness for the boys?
Detroit was hostile territory for the Penguins. I'm pretty much shocked that they could take it to them.
PA....hey?

Nice match. Watched every second on my Dad's cool TV. Any idea what was the injury sustained by Crosby?

It's OK. Dwight has them all the time.

It was nice to see, after the Chicago loss to Destroyed. For the record, Osgood is an extraordinary goalie. Watch out for Chi-town. It takes many, many years to breed the right hybrids, but we have the right mix of youngsters to quickly grow into a S cup winner.

Congrats Pittsburgh fans.
I must admit it's been a few years since I followed hockey closely. Who does Bobby Orr play for now? Still with the Bruins?

Sunil, that was indeed a great win in Detroit. That last period was INTENSE!
What did you think of the Detroit fans afterwards? I heard a few boos, but it looked like most of them stayed and applauded as the cup made some rounds?

While the third period was intense, the last 5 seconds was crazy.
Detroit played good, so the fans have to be reasonable. They always have last year.

I had the absolute pleasure of watching the final game while here in PA with 3 of my 4 brothers in law. It was great fun.

Here in Detroit the feeling was we really need something, a mental boost at this time where so many people are hurting, and down in the dumps. But, someone has to win and someone has to lose. I don't watch sports, but turned this on for the 3rd period, it was crazy, those guys really give it their all. I can't figure out how the announcers do what they do, I couldn't keep up. The best team won.

Western PA's economy is hurting pretty bad as well... They don't call the area the rust belt for no reason! Plenty of family and friends in that area are laid off right now.

BOOO THE PENS! Red wings shoulda won, I'm a little biased because my childhood friend plays for the Red Wings. Best tasting beer I've ever drank came outta that cup! Pretty cool to be in a private setting just staring at all that history, touching a trophy that so many legends have hoisted. He didn't play much in the playoffs and I keep telling him that it's not so bad...he's only 25 and has more money than I'll ever earn!

It was a great game 7. Bill Guerin is my favorite player, I was glad to see him raise the cup

Yeah I am actually, Derek Meech. Nicest professional hockey player you'll ever meet. I've met quite a few NHL players at parties and get togethers and they all seem to have developed big egos except for him. He lost his mom to cancer when we were little and always stayed dedicated to what he wanted to accomplish for himself. The PENS did deserve to win and man o man what a frantic last few seconds!
