IF you mean the simple "I Subscribe" logo I use, see the Posting Photos Archive , near the bottom.

If you mean the big PBCON III logo, one of it' proud displayers will have to give the url for it.

Try and put this directly before that link: [IMG]

Then, put this directly after that link: [/IMG]

Tom always brought back a boat load of fish; his buddy, the Game Warden wondered how. Tom took him fishing, broke out a stick of dynamite, tossed it in the water. After the explosion, began calmly gathering up the fish. His buddy, said I'm gonna have to arrest you. Tom lit another stick, shoved into his buddies hand, and said "are you gonna fish, or shoot the breeze?"

Tom

It's very evident you like dynamite due to your use of it in repeated posts...I am very interested in blowing something up with you. With fourth of july around the corner, how does one pursuade a fellow pondmeister to part with a few sticks?

Interesting. Here we are talking about an old family method of fishing, and how to get the logo onto the page. If you right click on the logo in Tom's posts, you will notice that it is from my Arvo Maki Photobucket folder.

My uncle Arvo never seemed to have a lot of time for fishing or hunting. His favorite fish lure was the "du Pont spinner." He also always seemed to have to do his deer hunting at night when he had to use a big flashlight -- I guess he just didn't get home early enough to hunt during the day.

I once charged two kids for throwing M80's into a local fishing lake trying to kill fish...

Virginia Code: § 29.1-533. Prohibition against use of substances injurious to fish.

It shall be unlawful to use any explosive for the destruction of fish, or knowingly cast any noxious substance or matter into any watercourse of the Commonwealth where fish or fish spawn may be destroyed, or to place or to allow to pass into the watercourses of the Commonwealth any sawdust, ashes, lime, gas, tar, or refuse of gas works, injurious to fish. Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor, except that any person convicted of destroying fish by means of explosives shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

The owner or lessee of any property on which fish are destroyed by means of explosives shall be entitled to recover liquidated damages in an amount deemed appropriate by the court from any person convicted of destroying fish by such means.

If you ever find kids with M80's again hold onto them for me...I've been looking for them since I was a kid and NO LUCK.

I wonder if it's as easy as reloading shells? You know there's a market out there for them...you'd think someone would be filling the demand. I'd pay $5-10 a piece for them!

It ought to be pretty easy to do if you are a reloader. I haven't tried it and won't. My experiments seldom turn out as tame as I want them to without several successive attempts.

I seem to recall somebody on here trying this stuff a couple of years ago. As I recall, neighbors were chapped about window breakage.

One guy told me about an empty CO2 cartridge, filled with powder, a waterproof fuse added and the end recrimped. NOSIREE, I ain't gonna try that.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Save those activities for people who don't need to be able to count to ten.

I've done the empty CO2 cartridge with gunpowder and waterproof fuse thing when I was a teenager.

Pretty cool, but dangerous.

Next time you head north on I-81, get off at the Clear Brook Exit (last exit in Virginia). Get on Route 11 north. Go into WV, and turn left onto Runnymeade, and go down to 67 Explosive Drive. I can't buy there because I live in West Virginia. But you can because you are from out of state.

P.S. It is where the big rocket sits beside I-81 when you head into WV.
