Is it absolutely essential that the water temp be 60 degrees before applying Cutrine plus? I'm trying to wait until it gets to 60 degrees but the FA isn't waiting for me.

You could try a small area to check the efficacy of Cutrine Plus on the type of FA that is currently growing. If it works then go for it, if it doesn't then I would wait. The risk in applying it too early is that you may have little effect on the FA and may need to treat again later when the temps are warmer. Some types of FA are very susceptible to Cutrine, others types not quite so.
With the warmer temps forcast this week you might not have to wait long for that 60 degree water temps.

My employee said it worked great on FA back in Feb when temps were low 50's.

What do you use to apply Cutrine Plus? I read one place that using a backpack sprayer will work. Is there a better method?
