Bob,
I am taking bids to stock a new 35 acre pond. I am intersted in getting stocking rate recommendations, recommended time to stock, and specied recommendations. My goal is to create a trophy LMB lake. I am assuming we will be looking for CNBG / RE combination, FHM, TFS, and Florida, Native, and F1 LMB.
Call me at 936-689-0689 or e-mail at sspinhirne@earthlink.net

Thanks,

Mike

I've never heard of him lurking or posting here.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Thanks,
I went to his site on Pond Boss directory, and only saw a phone number. I called and got a VM. I thought maybe he would catch this post.
I guess I will wait to here from him.

Why not give Bob Lusk a chance? He is the Pond Master himself and makes this web site possible!

The only chance involved if you use Lusk will be the increased chance you are giving yourself to get it right!

If you use Bob Lusk you will definitely be taking some chances...

1. There's a good chance of growing big fish.

2. There's a really good chance that you won't have a big fish kill.

3. You are taking a risk that you might have clearer water.

4. There's a significant possibility that you'll have lots of fun doing it.

All in all, I'd say it's a risk worth taking. ;\)

Send Bob Lusk a list of the Goals you wish to achieve with this lake. He will lay out the steps it will take to make those goals happen. If you will read some of his posts here on stocking you will see he always has a clear plan and is very good at explaining why and how each step must be taken. He has more loyal, happy customers than any Pond Boss in Texas. He has won us all over as you can tell by the loyalty! \:\) If you are taking bids I guess anyone can place one, but you must have a clear stocking plan before you can compare bids.

I have already sent Bob a PM with a quote request. The POA board requires me to get at least 3 quotes. I have selected Bob Lusk, Bob Waldrup, and Todd Overton based on the good information recieved here. Waldrup is the only one who does not have a website or e-mail. He said he is too busy raising fish to keep up with one.

I want to thank all who have already started to provide me information and learning for my new pond. The information is invaluable and has helped me set my goals.

Bob Lusk, please confirm you recieved my e-mail for a quote. Once I recieve yours, I can move ahead with submittals and recommendations to the board for release of funds. I hope to make as election soon, in order to get the fat heads in before they spawn. Give me a call, or send me an e-mail.
Thanks again for all the information last weekend.
Mike
