way to complex and busy for me to deal with. Hopefully here is a pic of BG after 9 months. The big female was 8" and 8.5 oz. I threw back larger males and kept this one and a few more.<a href="http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u211/jburkes/?action=view¤t=NewYear2009040.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u211/jburkes/NewYear2009040.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

They look good for their age. They look like they have CNBG in them as some have orange/yellow on the fins.

Not sure what an adult female CN should look like. It looked like a classic straight female. That's why I kept it; was surprised by the growth rate. I threw back lome larger males that the grandkids caught New Years. These are from Ar., George's Fl. strain monsters definitely look different from these. I was also surprised at so much lavender color out of spawning season. Have also caught a couple of puny RES on flyrod with surface popper. About 4 inches. I hope these are offspring and not originals stocked in Apr. 08.

Did you get any weights on them? I put mine in the same and wanted to compare. I only weighed the female at 8" and 8.5 oz(245 or so gr) and 1 male at 7" and 6.something oz. I had thrown back some larger males, a little bigger than the female, but no weights. I should have thrown her back, but thought she had eggs and didnt want that many dumped so soon. As it turned out, she was just a hog at the feeder buffet.
