Better check out the meat market in Poth.....some pretty good sausage. Matter of fact, Karnes City has some too!

Falls City (between Karnes C and Poth) has the finest Polish wedding sausage I've ever had. (Polloks Meat Mkt.) They make it fresh on Thursdays with extra garlic. Anyone going to the river walk, The Fig Tree Restaurant is a must do for a romantic elegant evening. The Phyllo Wrapped Yellow Fin Tuna may be the finest you'll ever have.
At least we are on a subject I can participate!

ahvatsa, where is that picture of you with the little dog, pink leash, and pink suspenders?

That is quite the San Antonio sight.

Good memory, Sunil.

The suspenders are red and the leash has a pink handle, but there is definitely a little dog with him. \:\)

Love you, dad.

Thanks, but I smell a whif of photoshop, pink to red.

Really though, the color is not important.

Here you have a real Texas fire-brand kind of fellow. Takes no bull from anyone, knows business, knows how to cut loose, raised great kids, but the dog selection.........

Get this man a chupucabra.

Theo,

Point taken. That's still better than what my mother used to say: "I'll put you back where you came from!"

Rangersedge and Mr Sandman,

Pack some shorts. It was 86 degrees today. Y'all are lucky you'll be here in March.

No reason to worry about rain gear once you cross the Red River.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

The only memory I have of San Antonio is Air Force Basic Training. We had one night to go out on the town towards the end of basic, and I wouldn't do it. I was afraid something would happen and I would be washed back (moved to another flight and have to stay at least another week). I wanted out of that place really bad.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Cecil, we never even got the chance to go to town.

No matter where Basic was, I would have wanted to go somewhere else.
