I added about 20ft to the length of my dam, there was very little clay in the dirt that I used and I suspect it will not hold. Would adding Bentonite to that section of the dam help, and where do you buy it? This is a secondary pond that I practice on.

There is a lot of oil activity in your area, look for an oil field supply store. They will have it by the bag. Texas Sodium Bentonite also sells it and can answer questions.
