Funny, but sad at the same time. Doesn't say much for the 2 major candidates does it? No, it's not political. Dave hasn't announced that he is running, nor what party he will be called if he does. Can the same state have 2 consecutive pres'es?

I didn't bequeath him with the name "Guvnor" for nothing.

C'mon Guys, we are supposed to keep politics out of this. I've been trying to start off low key and not wheedle for campaign contribs on PB.

I'm waiting for some campaign promises, personally I'd like to see:

1. Tax credits for all pond related purchases (aeration systems, fish stocking, fish food, chemicals, Pond books, subscriptions to Pond Boss Magazine, travel and registration to Pond Boss conferences, etc, etc).

2. A $50 exemption credit for each fish in your pond. (Up to a maximum credit of $10,000 - we can't be greedy after all).

3. Interest free government loans for building a pond, increasing the size of an existing pond, or improving a pond.

That would start to peak my interest. That's all I can think of right at the moment (it's early and a lack of sleep ain't helping).

Yeah anything can be construed as politics here! I know I've offended a few people by not even trying! LOL

Jeff, that stuff sounds reasonable to me. However, this stuff, at some point, has to go mainstream media and that gets expensive. Pls send monetary contributions to my Campaign Finance Manager, Mr. R. Swaim of the North Carolina Swaims.

OK,Im going out on a limb here, but if Dave will tet me be his manager, there will be NO,no exceptions,NO interst free loans for anything pond related.

However, that being said,ALL grants applied for for anything pond related will be granted.Furthermore, upon reciept of your grant for stocking/restocking your pond and providing proof of purchase,we will give you another grant equivelent to $50.00 per fish, per year to feed them. This will be just one of the many things we will offer to the great pondmiesters/land stewarts of our great nation.

As an aslo and besides, there will also be provisions for our "out of country" friends too.
Did I miss anything you deem pertinant, are you happy now?

Hold his feet to the fire Bbjr. Remind him of our Deathstar sphere of influence, and our generous bribes campaign contribution program. Also remind him that reneging on campaign promises can result in, hmmm, how shall I put this, indifference to his well being.

He is a member of the GSA so don't be too tough on him though.

That reminds me, it's time to prep for the Guvnor's Foreign Relations tour in Europe. Repeat after me, DD, "Ich Bin Berliner Fischmeister!"

P.S. You will have to kiss a Carp.

P.P.S. History is on our side! This country has not elected a standing Senator to the Presidency since 1960. OTOH, 7 of the last 8 Presidential Elections have been won by current or previous Guvnors!

Hey Ric, have you received anything but hot air?

Yes, of course, the GSA Rep will get a Cabinet level position.

Just got back from the Va Mt's helping my oldest plant peas & wheat. I'll go check ....

Opened the back door & you're right Dave, there's a warm breeze comming from the west. But that's it.

Psst .. as the money guy I have to remind you anyone aspiring to join your adm. is required to at least cough up a fish fry fund raiser !
