Bones, gorgeous setup. And great pics. I'm in New Hampshire now, but I lived for many years in Phoenix where we would float flood lights on top of the water at night - shining down. Worked great for crappie fishing on Apache Lake, concentrating the forage fish just like you are doing. Do you fish the lighted areas at night? I think different states regulate night fishing various ways.
Big time jealous of your setup. Great looking place.
Thanks for posting these pics

I have a bug light and fan that I used to attract my yellow perch for feed training. I had it in my big pond to kill bugs and feed the fish but wasn't that impressed with the size of the fish it attracted. Mostly small bluegill.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Since this is a new pond, I won't be fishing for a couple of years. I don't know of any laws prohibiting fishing with the use of light attractants, but they wouldn't apply to a private pond anyway. I had a place on Smith Lake in AL which is a beautiful lake with deep clear water. The only lake I have ever swam in and could see me feet. I mounted a night light off of my dock just above the surface of the water. It was amazing to watch the fish in the clear water. I would catch some stripes on ocassion and it was routine for the neighbors to go from dock to dock night fishing.
