I thought we had one but I couldn't find a thread for this stuff.

Try this: Hold down the CONTROL button on your keyboard and hit the "F" (the plain letter f on the keyboard).

At the bottom of your screen you should see a new search box where you can type in any word you want to find on whatever page you happen to be on.

Try typing any word ("the" is a good one for a demo).

Use the Next and Previous buttons on the search bar to navigate or use the Highlight All button to, well, highlight all. You can unhighlight by clicking it again. When you're done just close it by clicking the x on the search bar.

Isn't technology cool.

I've used this function a few times lately and it's great. Yesterday I was researching the use of maggots as bait and I went to several different websites. After loading one of the sites I would hit Control and F, and then type maggot into the search box. Immediately I would see the first use of the word highlighted. By clicking the "next" button on the Contro F search box I could quickly scan the whole site for references to maggots.

Have you tried it?

Ctrl + f is what gets me through law school.

Learning about things like this always makes me wonder what other things I'm missing out on.
