I placed an order for some fish for my .25 acre pond, avg. depth 5 ft. I went with what they suggested and want to see what yall think. Here it is: 200 coppernose, 50 redear , 30 bass and 4.5lbs of fathead minnows. The placed suggested putting all the fish in at the same time. I live in south La. in case u were wondering.
Thanks!

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure everything I've read here says to add the forage fish and wait a year to add the predator fish.
Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:" "She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

Tennessee recommends stocking all forage fish in the fall(mid Oct-mid Nov) with bass added the next June.

I like the idea of getting enough of a forage base that a bass can go to sleep with his mouth open and wake up with a full belly. However, I doubt that it will be a disaster unless your biomass gets too heavy with that many fatheads.
