Will someone give me some ideas for feeder stands? Pics would be helpful as well...

The problem is that as the water level drops, and more vegetation grows near shore, a lot of the feed ends up on land or stuck in the muck...

I've tried wooden table-style stands (usually collapse ), but was thinking of having some type of mini-docks built in several spots around the lake. Might cost a bit, but again, I'm incapable of constructing anything myself. Anyone try anything like this?

By the way, I'm running 4 of the Aquapro 75s on my 12 acre lake.

Thanks!

Dan, have someone build a couple of 4 ft tall tables with 4x4 legs. Drive a T post next to each leg and wire it to the leg. Make the table large enough to hold you and the feeder. You gotta get up on it to fill it.

My thoughts? If you don't have feral hogs yet, they're coming. They have wrecked several feeders around my area. Once they find a feeder, they seem to keep returning to see if you have replaced it with another.

I love the Richmond Mill stuff but their budget exceeds mine.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Excellent idea, Dave. Thanks!

I went to Home Depot this morning and had another idea. They carry the large cement blocks that serve as the base for a wooden deck/patio. They have an indentation that you fit a 4x4 into -- thinking of using those as the 4 bases for a table, with 3/4 plywood on top. That way I can actually put it out in the water...

Sounds interesting Dan. I'm gonna take a look at that.
