Our lake has only Northern LBM. I would like to introduce F1's. Of course I do not want to stock fingerlings just to get eaten. My plan is to raise F1's in a couple of ponds at my grandparents (30 miles away). I assume it is to late to stock the proper forage fish and then the F1's. How do I start? I assume the first thing is to kill off the fish in the stocker ponds. How do I do than? Can I stock the forage fish this year and then the F1's next spring?
