For those of you that don't know these perch are closely related to our yellow perch but get much larger.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

I don't often think of fishing in Russia. Pretty neat.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I wish! I don't believe either of us smoke either. Anybody know if it's dangerous to smoke in an inflatable raft? \:o

NICE FISH!

between smokin and thrashing fish w/ treble hooks i dont know if a rubber raft is exactly the best vessel to use, but it looks like they got it down. i like the "stringer" they use.

kinda interesting in comparison how we (american fisherman) get all serious about bait scents and the like, i think a pack of camels goes out w/ me on my next fishin trip.

thanks for sharin cecil.

I wonder if they have bag limits and such in Siberia or even officers to enforce it? I get the impression these lower working class guys would keep every fish they could even if it meant doing damage to that small lake. I wonder if they've heard of conservation up there?

They did let several fish go in the video. Some of the ones released were of nice size too.

Really? I guess I missed that since I didn't watch the whole video. I stand corrected.
