It's Full! 0.45 acre of ice-cold water, up to 12 feet deep. I thought I'd post some before-and-after pictures.

My Spring (FHM, Gambusia, Bullfrog Tadpoles for Mrs. Gallus) and Fall (YP, SMB) fish deliveries are on order, and the RES in my basement can hardly wait to swim in a tank bigger than 100 gallons again.

Wonderfull (no pun intended).

Those first two pictures from Aug. '07 are making me sad. All that nice greenery and the smell of freshly moved earth, while we have temps less than 20 F and snow.

Nice job, Theo!

We know GW's new creation is a boy. Have you selected a gender for yours yet?

Ixnay on the Hombre. Mrs. Gallus can read.

I have no immediate plans, nor do I anticipate any before my two kids get through college. But I walked the #3 site last night.

Theo,
Is that what I have to look forward to? Pond after pond after pond after...
Hope Zen gets here soon.

This is "Uncle Willard's Pond" - does that make it a boy?

Just pace yourself, and take it one pond at a time. I think I can go something like 5-10 years between ponds if I add a new species every once and a while.

Congrats on your new Uncle, err, I mean pond Theo! 5 & 1/2 months?#@^ groan... Could you please run your overflow a few miles south to my dry hole in 'Bama? I'm jazzed about a RES pond absent of BG(I assume). My 21 month healthy male RES is a chubby 10.5". I think the RES would feed in different niche and compete with the smallies in size! I'm as envious as the forest is green.
