Ok....so how important is it that I cover every square inch with lime? I did it myself and basically threw it out with a shovel. I did try to get pretty much every area with 6 tons of lime on a .91 acre pond. It has a creek feeding it so I was thinking the running water would help circulate it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hard to tell. It might spread it or it could cause it to clump up together. But I’m not sure that it will make a difference and should somewhat mix

Covering every inch is not necessary. If you got a good spread it will work. Is there water in the pond or is it just being built? You don't want the initial water to wash it out of the pond. It is the dirt you are liming not the water. Water will reflect the acidity/base of the dirt (watershed) over time.
