I have a 2 acre lake stocked about 5 years ago. I run a fish feeder, fertilize, and cull about 30 lbs of lmb every year. Just caught 16 bass this am. All except 1 weighed 20% less than the 100% relative weights. Pond has lmb, cnbg, fhm, rsf, and just added tilapia.
My plan is to catch every lmb (try to anyway) to increase RW. I’d like to catch more bass between 2-4 lbs.
My CNBG population is good with some being over 1 lb.
Any other suggestions?
How many LMB did you stock originally and how long ago? How large were they?
Sounds like may need to remove more and increase BG production

This time of year due to spawning fish can have lower RW. So it may not be as bad as it seems. You should probably increase the harvest of LMB to 45 lbs or so annually. Keep us posted and report RW this fall.
Do the bass have any cover in the pond to loaf at and ambush predators from, or are they constantly swimming looking for a meal?
SE Texas, about 1 hour west of Houston....New Ulm Texas.
Essup, some. There are lily pads circling the pond. About half the pond is 5-9 feet deep and the other half is 2 to 5 feet deep. I also have a coon-tail moss problem.
I stocked 200 LMB originally after I stocked FLM, CNBG, RSF. It seems I have "wolf packs" of 10.5 inch fish. I've made a commitment to take out 100 bass by the end of May.
I'd like to increase the depth by about 2 feet but I really don't have the funds to do it.
