Hello all! Been lurking for awhile. Finally have a pond after waiting a year (no available contractors). Purchased 10.5 acre property and had a house built. Moved in November of 2019. Pond was dug September of 2020. Was supposed to be 1/2 acre, but when contractor was done we were close to 3/4 acre. Not complaining, didn't cost me any extra lol. I got grass seed down when he was finished, but fall was pretty dry then got cold so not much grass grew. After the foot plus of snow we had has melted I now see a couple erosion areas to get solved before spring rains come. Will definitely need some help as this is my first pond. Living on acreage is a fun adventure. I am in NE Indiana.

Your new pond does not look very deep. Any idea what the contractor said the depth was?

A Hoosier is basically just a Buckeye with enough sense to stay well away from Columbus, Cincy, and Cleveland. smile
