does anyone know?
I need to know
Yep, a number of them do. Not sure of all the species. I got some Fat Head Minnows for my mom's small pond, and they work. Bluegill also like to munch on them. Mosquito fish also, but they are illegal in Michigan.
I am sure more people have better answers than this.
There aren't too many species that won't eat mosquito larvae...
Gold fish! I put a feeder gold fish in my patio fountain to keep the mosquitos in control.
Almost any fry will eat mosquito larvae. Part of the food chain. I would not use goldfish unless you can get them back out easily, as they can cause a lot of problems down the road. FHM are great for that.
Everything in the pond eats everything smaller until it becomes no longer worthwhile.
