^^^ Thread of photos from todays canoeing session. I tried to fish, had 1 bite of ~1lber but could land it bc I suck.
Saw a bunch of gar and tilapia, I think the Bass are at the other half of the lake im the neighbors property bc its deeper there. I might have scared off some bass from beds as well but i didnt get a good look at them. Yes there are still beds being made in my 80+* water.

As expected with the water so darn low and so much structure out of water I'd say there are only about 1/10 or so of the YOY left. Very few of them still schooling up and swimming around.

Thoughts? Ideas to help the YOY when it gets low? According to neighbors its usual low point is 2-3' up from where it is (~6' low right now, maybe 8)
great time to put in some stick beds.
Just tons of bundles of sticks weighed down or something else in mind?

Been there, some more specifric suggestions would be great :p
Vertical structure is supposed to be best, as fish can relate to it across a variety of depths depending on water temps & oxygen levels. Also, Bob Lusk said that a vertical Christmas tree will last much longer than one laying horizontal on the bottom.
