Has anyone who has put structure in there ponds marked it some how? Like tie a rope to it and put like a bobber on the end? Or used rope with a small buoy?

Yeah, I think someone on here ties a duck decoy to them, for more of a natural look.

Correction: There are several people on here that use duck decoys to mark structure :P

I'd like to use duck decoys to mark structure, but was told that I need a long beard to buy them.

I have used duck decoys and pool floats, and have settled on plastic bottles (screw lids sealed with silicone bathtub sealer) as a low cost float. Don't use milk bottles - that plastic deteriorates in a couple of months outdoors. Other types average about 2 years before Winter ice holes them. I used a 2 liter Mountain Dew bottle last year, and it is still good.

Use polypropylene rope - it floats and helps you replace missing bottles/floats.

I used decoys in the pond when I first put in the diffusers but got away from them after the cormorants started coming to the pond. I felt like the decoys might attract cormorants. So I removed the decoys as a marker. I am not sure that they did but I removed them anyway.
