Took my son in law out turkey hunting. He’s used to hunting in Nebraska in a blind. I’ve always sat by a tree in camo and called them in.
We worked a bird for two hours the other day. It’s a gobbler I’ve never been able to get a shot at. He’s just too careful. So I was completely hidden and doing the calling. This gobbler was focused on my location, not my son in law, who was ready to shoot. After two hours with his hens, he had to come see what was going on.
A little over 29 lbs. One of the most fun turkey hunts I’ve ever been on.

Surprisingly the Spurs were 1 1/8” and 1 1/4”. Double beard. 11 1/2” and 9 1/2”. Definitely an old bird.
