Here's some fish I picked up from a supplier on Friday. The RES was a fingerling in October (I believe) and was raised indoors all winter, the YP is a shooter from the April 2022 hatch. I picked up just shy of 200 of the YP, a few hundred of the RES. Half of the YP will go to a customers pond, half will be brood stock for next year.

I need a measuring device like that, where I can fill in my own numbers. Can you imagine the size of fish I could measure with something like that? Id have 30" LMB in no time!

This was my first thought too! Lake records just keep pouring in for some reason!

Great looking stockers Scott!

LOL. I had to do that because the board didn't start until the 7" mark that wasn't marked. Somewhere I DO have a "12 inch" ruler that is only 8" long though.....

Here's what it looked like when I purchased it.Hog Trough

When it had less miles (and fish) on it.

I saw some walleye fisherman that won a tournament last year utilizing a related strategy! grin

That was just an honest misunderstanding. The anglers asked if they could use outside help, and were told they had to sinker swim on their own.

And here I thought I was the person that posted the worst puns on Pond Boss.

I see you are angling for a State Record in that category!

Hey, I already got the State Record threadfin shad (if anybody kept records on them). 11.5"! Sad to say, no record LMB or HSB, but I'm trying.

11.5" TFS, that is eating size!

How do those fillets taste? grin
