Probably rare to see such a dense population of bluegill in a pond.
A bass (if introduced) would consider this place heaven.
Dang!
Is that all over the pond, or just by the feeder?
I love the water color.
These fish were in an "dyed" urban community lake - with no fish-feeders, other than the short-statured/two-legged type. Those BG congregate along the shoreline and follow anyone who seem likely to toss them a free meal - similar to many hominids.
thats pretty cool i caught the bg that were in my pond out of a local lake and over the summer i had trained them to eat bread and other scraps that i found, and they would follow me as i walked around the pond. my dad loved seeing the little moochers come up to the shore to get a peice of bread. i even had them trained to take a worm out of my hand. but i have never see bg congerate like that before beautiful pics thanks for sharing.
Dye works great in one of our ponds....will definitely add it again this year.
