My son and I fished the old pond a couple of weeks ago. We are calving, and I don’t get much time this time of the year. I took a lot of weights and measurements, but not many pictures. The last time we fished, LMB had an average RW of 95%. We culled a bunch on 10 to 14 inch fish. This time they were up
A bit, ranged from 90% to 113%, average of 101.75%.

The black crappie were decent. The biggest was 14 inches and a little thin. 76%. The 11-12 inch fish were right ar 100%.

There were very few bluegill, but they were hogs. Averaged 131% RW.

9.75 to 10 inches. This one was 10 with a relative weight of 142%.

It sound like your fish are doing really well, especially those hog BG!

Based on your pictures, it is unfortunate that your fish culling "assistant" did not appear to be having any fun, whatsoever! cool

P.S. The mountains around your pond are also a nice touch. Can you send one or two my way?

You can have the mountains as soon as the water is gone. Looking a lot light this year.

You must have missed the storm that hit Denver. My cousin in Casper, WY has about 36" on the ground now, and last Sunday his grass was bare.

"You can have the mountains as soon as the water is gone. Looking a lot light this year."

If you post the mountains on ebay, will the price include free shipping?

P.S. Best wishes on getting good water this year - both for the fishes and the cattle!

We were on the southern edge of the big storm that hit the front range. We got about 8 inches of sloppy wet snow. Everything helps.
