I'm not one to brag but this was her first time reeling the line in all the way and she was so excited that she caught a fish! I've snagged a few but don't think I've ever caught one that small. Let's see your smallest fish!!

I have a picture of my grandson with believe it or not a fathead minnow HOOKED IN THE MOUTH on a kernel of corn!! I'm just not good at posting photos on this forum. I would not have believed it if I had not seen it for myself!! Guppy, that is a great picture!

You all are lucky to be allowed to go fishing. Our new (and clearly power hungry) MI governor who has not been affectionaly nicknames Gretchen 'Half'-Whit-mer has banned any MI resident from being in any boat with a motor. This is regardless if you are in BY YOURSELF or with others. This has no bearing on social distancing or wearing a mask. I'm locked down with my own family and cannot take the same family members in a boat out in the fresh air. Even the sheriffs are complaining that residents are allowed to get on a ATV or a side by side and enjoy the outdoors but they cannot be in a boat out in the middle of a lake??

I guess they didn't specify what kind of motor so it sounds like trolling motor only might be OK? Canoes, Kayaks, etc apparently are OK? It all makes no sense, but I love seeing the pictures and for those of you who are allowed to still go fishing, please keep the pictures coming!

I also have caught FHM in the mouth. I have caught a bunch of 4" SMB on a small jig on purpose to move to a grow out pond. 1/64 or 1/128 oz jig works great.

Something is not quite right with Whitmer. Why are seeds not allowed to be sold??? Sounds asinine to me.

I have caught some small ones while fly fishing. They bit as I was drawing back to recast and as a result took the ride. grin

I would not have guessed you could catch an FHM in the mouth but they can be an aggressive feeding minnow. If you say you got a gambusia hooked in the mouth I would want a full video!

Canyon, I'm pretty sure I've heard the phrase "at least we're not like Michigan" before.. you say canoe's and kayaks are OK but I thought there was a guy that got arrested doing a stand up paddle board which is equally as brainless as stopping a person like you from taking your family out on a boat. I sure hope Half-Whitmer get's a lesson in the next election.

RStringer and DRLuke it just says [Linked image from i.imagur.com]

Both mine and Drlukes come up great big on mine. Maybe it's only like that if you have the imgur app installed. I'm not a tech person so I'm not sure.

Will you accept an entry for the smallest body of water?
100 gallon pond

Theo,
That has to be the easiest pond to maintain and holds water like a bucket!
