Curious what the thoughts are on this one? I'm assuming some sort of hybrid cross?

Was this fish from your pond? Do you think it was hatched there or as a fingerling that you purchased? If from your pond what sunfishes are present???.

What is in your pond ? Looks to have both BG and RES traits.

This was wild caught in a swamp as a fingerling with a net and put in my small fish pool on the patio..I caught him with a tiny hook as he was starting to get a little big. I put him in the big pond with mostly bluegill and possiblely some RES. I was just curious.. He seemed to be different.
