I'm talkin' 'bout Nate.
Posted By: JKB Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 02/11/11 12:13 AM
well....., let's just say that I did not consult with the young, pregnant, Amish girl, working at the local general store like I did with the Steelers taking it all the way! No No No..... But I would like to see a fish off between Bruce and Nate! Both are my favorites. Nate reminds me of my nephew Dave, and I am super proud of him! So, we will have to wait.....
Posted By: Bruce Condello Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 02/11/11 12:24 AM
Nate and I have clashed in the fishing arena before.

He is a formidable competitor.

That Bruce, is Exactly what makes it Perfect!

I love both of you guys and think it would be an awesome event!

Forum Heroes battling it out! Hopefully on video, so a narrator needs not be hired.

I hope/dont hope you did not/did, or thought you did see or saw the subliminal message in the post.

Go Nate Go!!!

ROFLMAO smile
Posted By: Sunil Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 02/11/11 01:02 AM
If n8ly reminds you of your nephew, who does Brucille remind you of?
Posted By: n8ly Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 02/11/11 01:21 AM
Bruce, If I go down, I will make sure to take you down with me.... Anyhow, you may have the upper edge on a bass tournament, but you would fall fast if we were having a big bluegill tournament!! My good friend owns a big bluegill website that I occasionally post pictures onto! Let me take that back, your going down in the bass tournament too!!!
Posted By: n8ly Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 02/11/11 01:27 AM
My prediction is that my team will bring in 11.50 lbs of various species of bass and come in second place to some lurking forum reader who will jump onto the scene with a blockbuster fishing tournament win! Bruce will bring in 7.35 lbs of spotted bass and finish somewhere in the middle. Grimes is good for 2 fish (both barely legal largemouths) so it all depends on who he gets partnered with on where he is gonna place!

He/She/It, needs love also, but I had to activate parental controls so my Dog wont be surfing while I am sleeping grin

Those three clicks with her toe in the morning wakes me right up.

I sure wish she did not have Cancer, but cant do anything about it right now. Neither can the vet's!
Posted By: Sue Cruz Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 02/11/11 02:31 PM
Any bass will do~ as long as it is alive and it meets the measurements. Table Rock Lake has Big Mouth, Small Mouth, White and Spotted Bass. If memory serves me right, though, everyone caught small mouth last time, right?
Posted By: n8ly Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 02/11/11 02:43 PM
Lots of smallmouths, but some spots and largies mixed in. Grimes will catch everything but smallies......
Posted By: Bruce Condello Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 02/11/11 08:20 PM
All we caught were spots.
Posted By: Rainman Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 02/11/11 09:40 PM
Bruce, did you have to fish the tourney with "worms only" also?
Posted By: Rainman Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 02/11/11 09:52 PM
Whoever gets Buster Love for a guide should have a big advantage...I think it was Nate that left behind a bunch of Porcupine Fish Attractors, like 20 of them. Big Cedar called me asking what to do with them and I gave them to Buster and Stacey King to create some secret Honey Holes for bass.
Posted By: Greg Grimes Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 02/14/11 10:50 PM
Ok hope to catch a small mouth and Bruce there was one caught last year but yes spots galore. Speaking of spots- here is some smack talk for you Nate. My Dad was probably the best spotted bass fisherman in the country- that part is not debatable. I would think some of his expertise rubbed off on me while growing up fishing Lanier again one of the best spotted bass fisheries anywhere. We could catch em when others struggled to get a bite. So while my goals would be to catch a smallie I would take home a first place trophy as consulation prize.

Maybe looking at a 3 a.m. departure.

Still waiting on one more registrant.... you know who you are...
Posted By: Rainman Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 04/06/11 03:39 AM
Bruce, I hate to tell you, but Natester says the Brewster can't win this year's tourney, Nate has bribed me with ordering a truckload+ worth of fish for next Monday, along with the five footballs called Bass that will win the thing, but the kicker was a full day of fishing at the beautiful Lake Norris. (You know how great the fishing is there)

Just for spite all those female Yellow Perch I had culled for you have somehow turned into males......Divine intervention??? Who knows?

PS...Don't hold the trash talk against me when I visit for my appointment shortly after the Conference I'm open to an offer of a free crown instead of resin if you still want female YP...hehehe

Someone enter the tourney for that last slot fast! It is a blast!!!!

Heck, just getting that close to Sue Cruz is worth the entry fee alone! grin

Where's Bruce?
Posted By: ewest Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 04/07/11 02:06 AM
He is helping Capt. Cruz and me with a secret plan.
Posted By: n8ly Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 04/07/11 11:34 AM
Does anyone know Mr. Wilson? And I am putting top ten finish in the 2011 Pond Boss Invitational at Table Rock on my Pro Staff resume!!

This is gonna be alot of fun as long as I beat Rex and Justin and also my sister Amy is actually a contender.

Make sure Bruce gets in the wild card, chickening out is definitely not cool. Excuses have no merit....
Posted By: blair5002 Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 04/07/11 01:23 PM
Nate I hope Mr.Wilson is going so he can enjoy the outdoors and plans to relax with a nice book while u fish. laugh
Posted By: n8ly Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 04/07/11 11:33 PM
Mr. Wilson is gonna have to pull his weight. Fishing Table Rock is a whole lot different than fishing in intensively managed private water. I am much better at growing fish than actually catching them.

Anyhow I found out that Mr. Wilson owns the Aqua Doc Lake Management company and turns out I actually have met him a couple times. He wore shorts and hawaiian Tshirt to a pond convention up north in the middle of the winter.....

He is also the star of this video:

Posted By: ewest Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 04/08/11 03:35 PM
I would say the star was the pond with moving winter water.

Greg, thats pretty low calling John a pretty girl! Boy do I feel sorry for Heath having to fish with a southern boy with an accent who has never caught a smallmouth bass before.
Posted By: Greg Grimes Re: 2011 Fishing Tounament Details - 04/12/11 10:09 PM
oops wrong Nate. Yes I feel sorry for Heath when I go crazy after getting the first smallie to the boat. Ok boys see you soon. Outta here.
