Pond Boss
Hello everyone planning to stock my forage/satellite pond
With fathead and golden shiners Thursday
Is there a way to prevent or minimize the chance at parasites? Medicating feed or something else.
Reading numerous articles now I’m concerned that building a forage pond was the right decision
How big of a concern/ percentage of threat of parasites having negative affects on my large pond when transferring forage.
Thanks for any information

Water quality is going to dictate most of your success and failure. If fish are healthy, they are equipped to fight back and maintain good condition. How you handle the fish going into a body of water can induce problems as well if not handled properly. I'll go read Rod's linked thread..
