Ken,
Congratulations for this great Pond Boss honor. All your valuable posts are really appreciated by all members.
Congratulations Ken...you must have paid someone handsomely in venison pastrami over the years...or roadkill casserole! wink
I was speechless when Bob Lusk called me last week and told me the news. It is an honor that I never dreamed of. There are so many others here who have spent uncountable hours and provided an extremely wide variety of support to the Pond Boss family.

For anyone not familiar with Dr. Dave Willis, he was an incredible person who built a fisheries and wildlife program at South Dakota State University. He was brilliant and extremely friendly while being very humble. He always had time for students and friends. It was fun to just be in his presence. He unfortunately passed away suddenly and unexpectedly a few years back. He was doing one of the things he loved so much -- fishing with his grandson.

Many forum members may not know about all of the others who have volunteered and donated so much through Pond Boss and SDSU. Many here were involved with Dr. Dave, his programs, and his students.

To be placed in a category tying me to Dr. Dave makes me extremely proud. He was somebody we should all emulate.

Thank you Pond Boss, and thanks to all of my many wonderful friends here.

Ken
