I've done some searching here and on google, and having trouble locating suppliers of fish here in BC.
Any ideas appreciated, thanks!

Dennis, try the agriculture ministry. Do you have to be licensed there to have a pond?

I'll look into them. Thought they'd be more on the end of information and permits.

Dennis,

How about your Provincal Fish and Wildlife ministry? They should have a list of private producers.

Thanks both of you! Can't wait for the ice to melt.

DT, my father in law is in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Very likely that is a good deal north of you. I'm assuming you're in southern BC. He stocked rainbows in his dugout, added a home-built aerator system - had great success, with very good first-year growth.

I think he said he got the stock from the provincial fishery management folks, or from a hatchery they recommended. They even delivered!

What kind of fish are you looking for? I believe he also stocked a few grass carp for weed control.
