with live 3 inch bluegill on a #3 worm hook under only a splitshot and fished slowly about 1ft off of the weedlines. It was funny when a guy walked by and said the place was fished out as I hooked one of the bigger ones:)

My take on what a Texas bass looks like:

I've caught them out of perenially muddy water with very little colored lateral line. They were almost white in color with almost no discernible "confirmation".

On the other hand, a clear water LMB will have all of the features looked for by a taxidermist.
Thanks we usually love this size up here they make great bait for the blue gills or if the cork comes out of the boat.
