Pond Boss
Hey everyone,

I was wondering can someone tell me how many gallons of water it would take to fill a 1 acre of water 1' deep? I am getting ready to run a well after we put out some bentonite and I am trying to see if I can determine how much water will be added daily? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

One acre, one inch deep is 27,000 gallons. So, 354,000 is the number you want.(oops...my bad...324,000 is correct...)
Bob,

Using your figure of 27,000 gallons/inch my calculator shows 324,000 gallons/acre.

For Those Interested, One acre of water, one foot deep is called: one acre foot and technically it is 325,850 gallons. Acre feet of water is used extensively in the directions for chemical applications and treatments.
