looking for low voltage lighting for ponds saw a pond with lights just below water level set over bottom diffussers interesting effect anyone with hands on knowledge. Lights were different colors always had this in the back of the ole noggin but was not on the priority list.We have had some request for in water lights and would like some knowledge to weigh pros and cons

I had some low voltage lights installed in my swimming pool a few years back, because the regular wiring was kaput and expensive to replace. The lights worked great.
These days they're even fancier. Check http://www.rainbowwaters.com/video.htm as an example of what's available. I think even the big hardware chains like Home Depot have LV underwater lights now.
