Made a new cloverleaf for trapping bg, crappie and bullheads. 2'x2'x18"h with double rolled swinging doors for the bait basket and emptying door. Hopefully going to get it in the pond tonight.

What are you guys doing for cloverleaf trap builds? My last one was a bit shorter than this one - i figured the height should help it be a bit more effective. The previous trap was a pain to get fish out of so I placed the door in one of the leafs so you roll the trap on the side and dump fish into a bucket/basket. The doors are hinged with zip ties and held closed with binder clips

I made a trapdoor for the bait area out of a piece of plastic and hinge. The opening for trapped fish access is a ferrule from a range fan hood and a small bucket lid. Both accesses are held in place by rubber bungee cords bolted to the mesh...

Here's an old thread with more info on it...
