I received a water test of my pond today and was wondering if someone could explain some of the numbers to me. Also whether or not based on these numbers if I should lime/fertilize or do nothing at all. Thanks.

As best I can read - the alkalinity is 67 and bicarbonate part is relatively high. So you likely don't need lime to make a fertilization plan work. If you need to fertilize is a different question based on current situation and pond goals. Many ponds do not need extra fertility.

I had read an article of Bob Lusk's that said if you were between 6-8 pH and over 20 ppm alkalinity that your pond would probably be fine, I was just making sure. My goal is to have a better plankton bloom. If I can find some perfect pond plus fertilizer I think I'll apply it and see if I can get a better plankton bloom.Thank you for your response ewest.
