I cannot remain logged on to pond boss forums. For some reason I keep getting kicked off. Anybody else having the same problem? And if so did you arrive at a solution.
Posted By: esshup Re: Forum - 04/11/14 05:41 PM
I cleared my temp internet folder and deleted cookies. If that doesn't clear it, give the PB office a call and talk to Sherrie.

ITS PROBABLY THE HEARTBLEED SSL BUG! Just joking, it's not! smile

I work in IT and I don't know how many silly questions I have had to answer about that today!

And to answer your question I would try Esshup's suggestion first. smile

I'd say every few days, I get automatically logged off.

It's unpredictable and intermittent.

And a pain the posterior...

Try switching from "Heavy Duty" to "Regular" Reynolds Wrap.

It's a pain in the posterior when you are flashing the firmware on a 6K device, and some dork throws the power disconnect!!! Buy a new one!

No problems that people are having here. I must be doing it wrong wink

1+

What's the answer to the problem?
Posted By: rmedgar Re: Forum - 04/14/14 03:38 AM
Slightly off subject: Sunil, I got 3 strange emails from you today - concerning
weight loss or some crap like that. Hey, you know me, 158 dripping wet...
Posted By: Sunil Re: Forum - 04/14/14 12:08 PM
Just thinking about your health, all the time, Randy!!

Need to make sure my car rental spouse is always there for me.

I did get hit with some spam virus or something.
Posted By: catmandoo Re: Forum - 04/14/14 01:27 PM
Regarding Sunil's crazed emails, first reported above by Randy -- don't open the attachments or the links.

When I looked at the first one, I was afraid Sunil was munching magic mushrooms while having a Peroni.

It's just one of the many benefits of being a close, personal friend of mine.

Or me having sent you an email once, long ago.....

Bruce, you're supposed ta be intelligent, figure it out. The forum Gods just plain don't like you or Sunill. If that ain't the case I think Yolksac has it figured out.
Posted By: Bill Cody Re: Forum - 04/14/14 03:55 PM
A couple weeks ago I was having trouble staying logged onto the forum. I called Sherrie at PB Office. I cleaned out cookies & temp internet folder as esshup suggested. That seemed to help, now I have a lot less trouble. I think it was spam related either on PB forum end and/or my end.
Posted By: jludwig Re: Forum - 04/14/14 04:56 PM
Also try switching browsers. I have had the most trouble with Internet Explorer.

And we all know if the Yolkster figured it out, if can't be that complicated.

I got Sunil's emails as well. Knew it was not him so I did not open. Plus it was in the junk mail so I knew he did not send them.

Man takes a few moments out of a busy day to help a buddy on the forum and what does he get?
Posted By: Sunil Re: Forum - 04/14/14 09:44 PM
Egg on his face?

How many dentists does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Four.

.....that's all I got.

It was junk....so you knew Sunil didn't sent it??

One to hold the bulb, and three to turn the ladder.

I will second this. I used to have trouble staying logged in on a couple of forums. My son had been trying to get me to switch over to the FireFox browser for some time. I finally did and it pretty much eliminated the problem.

Quick try at this:
None? They have their nurses do it?

Nope.
Only one.
The doctor stands still with bulb in hand and the WHOLE WORLD
turns around him.

You have no idea how much I needed that laugh today.

An easy solution would be to get a 'password manager' program or app, it will automatically log you in.
Posted By: Sunil Re: Forum - 04/16/14 12:23 PM
My email is still hacked and/or sending out massive spam.

I changed my password, but that hasn't seemed to help.

Any ideas are welcomed.
Posted By: teehjaeh57 Re: Forum - 04/16/14 02:38 PM
I'm not an expert, but it seems you have a trojan or some other virus that's hacked into your mail server and you need to get it removed. Run antivirus software to identify and remove the virus and it should solve the problem. I can't really recommend any specific software, except that Malwarebytes has worked for me in the past where others have failed. Worst case scenario you might have to buy a disk to scan the pc to find the hidden issues...they are good at cloaking themselves now and the free software might not be advanced enough to identify and remove.

Everybody may want to check their credit/debit card accounts.

Heartbleed is a bad one.

$unil - You need to get on your email service provider and tell them what is going on.

If you email me, I will not reply. I won't answer your cellular spam machine calls.

I don't think Carrier Pigeons carry spam but they drop a lot of juicy......

My yahoo account had suspicious activity last night yahoo contacted me and told me to go to there homepage and change my passwords. .

Do not change your password from an email provided link.. go to the accounts homepage and change from there..

And another weird thing the IRS says my ss# is not a registered number.. Funny they had no problem taking money from me all year but it's time too get some back now my numbers no good.. WTF IRS..

All my iOS devices log me out every couple days. Then when I click on log in tab it fills in passwords automatically and logs in. Wth? It started when the forum changed last.

Yep, got some yesterday and this morning.

A guy I know had his yahoo account hacked. He had to work with yahoo to get it fixed. Still works fine today, and no spam. This was a couple years ago.
