i need helpon a new algae forming on my tank located in central texas, it is all rain, runoff water, and because of lack of rain, etc is very low, i have a form of algae that looks like green paint has spilled into water, it is on top of water and seems to form at night. cleaned out fil algae with cutrine, and coontail weeds, created muck on bottom, what to do, hope for rain and tank cure itself ? tank about 1 1/2 acre surface, 2 ft to 15 ft normal down a good 4 ft now.

You have planktonic algae. Use some cutrine plus to get rid of it. You might try some stocktrine applications in your troughs as a regular maintenance to prevent future problems.
