How much Aluminum should be needed for a 10K gallon pond? I see alot of rates per acreage but not finding much for smaller ponds.

Rates are per acre foot of water (325,800 gallon). 100-200lbs of Alum per ac ft. I'd use 10lbs of ALUM and 4-5lbs of calcium hydroxide if standing pH is below 7.5.

How should I go about applying the ALUM? Is it something that should be applied at one time or can I try 5lbs then the next day or 2 slowly add more to the pond?

All at the same time. do half the pond with ALUM, then treat with Calcium Hydroxide. Do the other side and repeat with lime.
Mix ALUM in a tank with water and spray out with a small pump or you could pour around the edges but it's probably most effective sprayed out covering the surface evenly. The Hydrated lime can just be poured out in lines across the water after application of Alum.
EYE and SKIN protection are a MUST!

And don't mix lime and ALUM together, it'll form a sludge you'll never get rid of or pump out.
