The silt on the bottom of my aerated springfed pond is just unbearable to smell, it seems to have become worse over time. Is this something I should worry about?

Can you identify any portion of the bad smell (e.g. rotten eggs)?

It smells like rotting fish, I just hope it isn't rotting fish...

How long have you been running an aeration system in the pond?

Going on two years now.

Can you give details on the size/depth of the pond and the aeration system (type compressor, hours run per day, air volume output, type/number/placement of diffusers - stuff like that there)?
