My local county soil & water district is offering these plant kits. Looking at "Kit 2". My 1/2 acre pond currently has a river rock border and no plants. These any good?

2 opinions:

1) Soil and Water offerings are usually a good deal
2) Cardinal Flowers have the most beautiful red in the world.

Trying to establish bog filters here...those plant deals look great! A pro-active soil and water district is a cool idea that need not cost a lot, offering a good deal for revenue.
