Hello, so I have my aeration going, and it's pretty amazing the kind of turbulence and water movement I can get from it. It's definitely making a difference. However, usually I have a bunch of really nice hornwort growing. This year, however, there's some really gnarly filamentous algae covering all of it. Is this related to the aeration? I've been running my bubblers 24/7 for about three or four weeks.

Thanks!

Maybe, maybe not. I have that same covering of algae on my Curly Leaf Pondweed and I haven't fired up my aeration system yet.
