If you only ran an aeration system for 8 hours during the day and 8 hours at night, would you run the same risks of the condensation freezing, simular to how a windmill air line would freeze? The reason ask is because I'm wondering if I could get a "plug in" aeration system that I can run off my solar in the day and only use 8 hours of battery a night? This is likely a better aeration system than using a windmill, no?
Where are you located??. Airline condensation and winter aeration might not be a problem. Again how deep and large is the pond?.
I'm in Rimbey Alberta so freezing could be an issue. Especially as I might have the compressor 200 feet away and run an air-line to the pond. However, the compressor will be up a hill so the line will run downhill to the water. Basically, the air-line from the compressor runs on a 45 degree decline all the way to the water. The water is about 12 feet deep
