Hey all,

I am up in WA state and the smoke from Oregon and CA is thick. We have about 1/2 mile visibility and I was in the house hiding out looking at the pond and thought huh, I am pumping smoke into the pond with the aerator. Any thoughts or knowledge on that? I would hate to kill all of the fish a second time.

(Joke about smoked fish avoided due to appreciation for you concern.)

Aeration moves water around more than directly pumping air into water. The pond surface is already putting smoke into you pond.

If you can breath it okay, I suspect the fish will be fine.
