Just saw my first feed trained LMB today. That's insane! A friend has a lake and they had a redo after a die off two years ago and says the northern are eating at the feeders. Of course I had to see it for myself. Feeder goes off and of course BG show up and start boiling the water. Next couple of GC show up and I watch them thrash around and think my buddy is nuts, its the carp that are blowing up at the feeder. Then I start seeing flashes and HUGE boils! It's really fun to watch 2 and 3 pound LMB rip the water up while hitting feed. Read about it, heard about, never witness it until today!

I have been feeding my bluegill and feed trained LMB since I stocked in May.
It's crazy to watch them feed.
A month ago, I started feeding Aquamax Largemouth pellets. They are 3/4-1" in size. Only the LMB can eat them. No bluegill competition. My bass have eaten 200lbs in a month. Insane. They are like sharks during shark week flying out of the water.
The coolest is when there are about 20 bluegill trying to nibble at them and are pushing them all around cause they can't eat them. All the sudden the bluegill will scatter and a 2lb bass will come up from underneath and explode on the pellet. Just like a shark eating a seal!

i have 6-8 feed trained in my pond. i see them at the feeder getting the am 600 or optimal. but the best part is i hand feed them purina lmb pellets. i ride the gator to feed them. i usually have 1 or 2 to start following me when i get to the corner of the dam. after i drive about half way up the shore line, a wave starts coming at me. they usually are near the dock where the feeder is. when they hear that gator they come running. i need to see if i can get a good video of it also. it is awesome. sure am glad they survived the fish kill

Roll Tide!! Sloppy but nice win on Saturday..... need to improve at QB position this year to secure #17.
Youngest just graduated from Bama this year and oldest did in '14.
My feed trained LMB were stocked in early June and doing well. Feeding AquaMax MVP twice each day using Tx Hunter LMB 135....it's a nice setup and all working well.
If I could figure out how to add a video I would show you the feeding frenzy but I am technology-challenged. BM61.

Roll Tide! It was pretty sloppy. But it was great test to see where they are. Plenty of stuff for Coach Saban to bitch about which I think is when they do their best coaching.
