Hello,
I searched for, but did not see an answer to this question.
At what water temperature will Channel Catfish start feeding on floating pellets in the Spring?

Thanks In Advance...

OK, so the CC really start surface feeding at water temperatures above 60F. My water is still in the mid-50s. I have thousands of FHM that can't eat all what I'm putting out, so the CC must be eating the feed, after it sinks, and feeding on the FHM. I'll keep my Aquapro feeding one second a day, at 5:00 PM, keep monitoring the water temperature and see what happens above 60 F.
Thanks!

My result this year for CC:
55, nothing, not feeding.
58, two small nibbles
62, multiple hits, but slow, taking half an hour to complete.
64, hitting hard, but not like the middle of summer, but good.
All floating food, 1 sec. on the timer.
Central Texas, right now, water temp 65/66. Bass hitting lures real well.
Tadpoles everywhere, frogs croaking. It's just about here, great time of the year.

Thanks for that feedback.
Hmm... I'm southeast of you and your water is warmer. Well, I'm down in an area the locals call "The Hole". Most trees, including my pecans, are waking up, but the Crape Myrtles aren't blooming, yet.
