Hey guys,
Well, I was wondering what some of you experts thought. I have been feeding everyday the last month and a half or so. I see alot of BG, RES, and Black Crappie feeding. I originally stocked about 50 HSB but I am wondering with all of the feed going into the pond, are enough fish being ate by the predators? Like I said, I see plenty of offspring from the BG and RES so I am wondering if my HSB and Black Crappie will still keep the numbers in check.

Personally, I'm one of those believers that say you can't have too many forage fish if predators are present. I would prefer for my top of the line fish to simply "yawn", and have something accidentally swim in there.

You do face an issue with 4"+ fish, you may need to target larger panfish & crappie down the line since a HSB has a smaller mouth size.
